Has that been lowered? Or are the rear springs broken?

I agree on newer cars. Certain (older) cars have personalities that lend themselves to a name.

Ah, good then.

I have had two E46 xi’s and both have had broken rear springs. That’s why I ask.

One, I attributed to jumping it at Team O’Neil’s, with probably close to 200k on it at the time. The second one, I had replaced by the seller just when I bought it.

This car has been tracked but, we won’t tell the buyer that. It runs great great for 140k, definitely worth someone picking it up as a daily.

Yeah I wouldn’t worry too much. I’ve driven my current daily on what was basically a rallyx course at O’Neils, too, and then just... drove it home. You can definitely track an E46 and just keep driving it.

The xi is a ton of fun in the snow, too - it’s so easy to get a little sideways (or a lot sideways) but easy to control, and bring back into shape, too. I steer with my right foot a lot when it snows.
